Hay on a Saturday

Hello,
Here it is.

Wyatt and Adam: So last Tuesday we had an interesting lesson with some of our main investigators, Adam and Wyatt. So they have been progressing really well, but we had a funny surprise. When we asked them on Tuesday what the Spirit was, because we were talking about receiving an answer if the Book of Mormon was true, they answered with all three members of the Godhead. So we had to back pedal quite a bit, and we taught about that this past Friday, and for the lesson on Tuesday taught what the scriptures were agian. Because they are younger, 9 and 12, and don't have the greatest attention span, they were 'paying attention',  but not retaining too much of it.

We taught about God as our Father, Jesus Christ as His only begotten Son, and the Holy Ghost, their roles and their attributes. The Best scirpture that I know that shows this is Doctrine and Covenants 130:22 It's super simple, and then we knowt hat their prupose is to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of lman. I know that God lives and that Jesus is the Christ and my Savior.

22 The Father has a body of flesh and bones as tangible as man’s; the Son also; but the Holy Ghost has not a body of flesh and bones, but is a personage of Spirit. Were it not so,the Holy Ghost could not dwell in us.

Exchanges: So I went on exchanges twice this past week, each with one of the district leaders in my Zone. It was great to be with them, and to learn from them. One of funniest things that happened on Exchanges was when I was with Elder Spencer. We were going to his district meeting, which is in Iona. We were having the district meeting in the backyard of the MLS couple that is in their stake, and lo and behold we pull right onto Scoresby Avenue. I know that Scoresby's were one of the main families in Iona, but it was funny to be on their street. We had a great district meeting, and then had sloppy joes for lunch. I'll be going on exchanges again this week, so at least once a week for 4 weeks, pretty fun.

Crazy Saturday: So Saturday was super duper busy and crazy. The member of the branch that we ate with on Saturday asked us to help them clean the branch building because someone couldn't make it, so after we worked out we vacuumed the branch building and then came back for planning and personal study. After this short amount of time, and going out to Chick-Fil-A, we changed again and went to another service project. This one was a lot more strenuous and gave a more accurate taste Idaho life. We were loading hay bales into trailers, taking them 20 minutes from the farm to this man's house, and then unloading them into a couple of lean-to shelters. I wore my short sleeve shirt, but did have gloves. It was a lot of fun, but a very humbling experience. The people who work in the fields do quite a bit, and I got to have a small taste. Right after we finished we showered again, changed, and went to a baptism, dinner, and then the miracle. We had been going through all of our plans, and nobody was home at all. Just when we were thinking nobody was going to be home, we decided to walk to another person in the same trailer court, someone that we hadn't planned to see. We were praying on the way to know who to talk to, and we felt we should talk to this woman on the street. She is super open and willing to meet. She has been in Idaho for a year, has never seen missionaries and almost knows nothing about the church. She has faith in God in Christ and wants blessings for her family. Blessings and miracles come as we act in Faith. I love serving right now in Idaho.

Longer email in a week or two.
Have a great week!!!!
