Miracle Transfer Week

Hello, running out of time today, but this week was fantastic.

Transfers: Wednesday was moving everything into our new apartment, which is with another set of Elders: Elder Thompson and Heileson, who are in our district. That along with tons of doctor's appointments and everything else going on, Wednesday was one crazy day. Then Thursday morning came. Elder Estrada and I had to hang around the transfer site again. This transfer we had tacos for lunch and it was great to talk to some of the missionaries who have been out as long as me, and the time flies. Don't waste a minute because I'm already reaching about a Year and a Half, which means about 6-7 months before I finish. I'm very very excited to stay in this area for another transfer with Elder Estrada. Since moving apartments along with more fun is more exercise. I did my first ab roller on Saturday and it hurt. More sleep is needed, but the work moves forward.

Miracles: We had two people come to church yesterday that had beforehand called members and told them that they wanted to be baptized. We had a less-active come to church for the first time in many many months and bring her non-member aide with her. We had one of our investigators come to church for the first time and she loved it. We started teaching a couple that are from Venezuela that now have plans to search, ponder, and pray about the Book of Mormon. We also got to start teaching 2 younger kids that came to church yesterday too. We've been following the spirit and seen success. The Olivas are progressing well too, along with some others that we are teaching. It just couldn't be better over here. Months of work is now leading to the Lord blessing the people we are visiting, have visited, or are trying to visit. It is amazing to see that this is the work of the Lord on the earth. God is at the Helm and Christ leads his church through the prophet on the Earth Today: President Russell M. Nelson.

Elder Estrada: He is hilarious. Over the past 4 days I've spoken more in Spanglish than any other time in my life. He has been out on his mission for 9 months, and I am his second companion and this is his second area. He didn't know English before coming out, but it is super good. He's fun, and I'm getting to learn a ton of new words and phrases that just come from daily living. Just be sure not to tell anyone that their food is a porqueria....

Everything is going great. Love y'all and hope you have a fantastic week!!!
Love,
Elder Baker
