Fun Ice and painful Hail

Hello,
I ran out of time for emailing so it will be a lot of condensed information, enjoy!

Exchanges: I went on two exchanges this past week, one was in my area, and then the other was going with Elder Martin in Iona. I didn't see any Scoresby's while I was up there, but as we were leaving the Iona Stake center after cleaning up and setting up for a church tour, it started Hailing on us (a video was taken and will either be sent this week or next week). The rest of the day was fun, we tracted some apartments, had a correlation, and we gave the church tour to a young man named Ryan. When they moved here, he went inside a church building and just felt the spirit with him very strongly, making him feel wonderful here. He has attended church about a year before his parents have allowed him to be baptized, and he is very prepared. It was amazing to teach more about the sacrament and baptism and how the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints functions.

Sunday: We had a crazy busy day. We went to the first session of the Meridian Temple Dedication, then we had all of our afternoon appointments cancel, then we had dinner at the edge of our area, and then we watched the face2face w/ Elder Oaks and Elder Ballard before correlated with our high councilor over missionary work to finish off the night. The dedication was different from the ones I had previously viewed because it was a dedication, not a re-dedication. We went to the first session so they went and sealed part of the capstone, which I had never viewed before. The spirit that is about the temple is powerful. It is the house of the Lord, where we can serve our deceased ancestors and also learn ourselves about God's glorious plan for us. The Face to Face was wonderful too. We were asked to watch it and there were a lot of great things for young single adults. I recommend giving it a watch at LDS.org

P-day: We went ice skating today, and it was a lot of fun. I didn't fall on the ground this time, but it was like I had to start all over again from last year. Most of the zone was able to go and it was a good break and a ton of fun.

Thanks for your emails and hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving this week!!!! If you have any questions just send me an email, thanks!!!!
Love,
Elder Baker
